We wouldn’t expect anything else from the quirkiest of auteurs, Wes Anderson.
Anderson, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman are taking “The Grand Budapest Hotel” on a week-long tour aboard the Queen Mary 2. The trio and Roman Coppola, who headed the film’s special photography unit, will be sailing across the Atlantic from New York to England beginning June 13.
The group, who has collaborated on several films, including “Moonrise Kingdom,” will participate in a Q&A session with the passengers on Cunard Line’s flagship. “Grand Budapest Hotel” will also be screened during the transatlantic trip.
The dramedy is the director’s highest grossing pic do date. It’s earned almost $133 worldwide since its release in March.
The QM2, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has welcomed Hollywood elite like George Lucas, Uma Thurman, John Cleese and Angela Bassett in the past.
